UFC start time: When the main Fight Night card and Rozenstruik vs. Sakai start Saturday on ESPN +

UFC returns to the Apex facility in Las Vegas for another UFC Fight Night card on Saturday, May 22, live on ESPN +.

The main event brings together two heavyweights looking to reverse their most recent result when No.6 Jairzinho Rozenstruik takes on No.9 Augusto Sakai. Rozenstruik is 11-2 in his career, but has given up two of his last three to elite fighters at Francis Ngannou and Cyril Gane.

Sakai was disconnected from Dana White’s Contender series and was 4-0 as a UFC contender before falling to Alistair Overeem in September 2020. He is 15-2-1 overall in as an MMA pro but could use a win here to stay on an upward trajectory to the top of the standings at 265 lbs.

Additionally, the main co-event is also at heavyweight, where No.8 Walt Harris will face No.11 Marcin Tybura. Harris has a 13-9 career, but suffered losses to Alexander Volkov and Overeem in his only bouts of 2020. Tybura has a 21-6 career and heads to the Octagon on a four-game winning streak, including stopping Greg Hardy in the second lap. in December of last year during its previous release.
