The BTHA has announced that the 2022 Toy Trust Media auction raised a fantastic £77,550 during Toy Fair 2022 and has now raised £1,072,390 since the auction took place at Toy Fair.
The auction sees airtime and print slots generously donated by major online, print and trade journals – while major retailers have also added valuable promotional slots in their catalogs to help bid on over £100,000 of media space.
The media auction has been live throughout Toy Fair since 2009, with final bids being placed via auction boards which remained on display in the BTHA members’ lounge on Olympia’s upper gallery.
Details of the winning bids can be viewed on the Toy Trust Media Auction page by clicking here.
Toy Trust Committee Chairman Graham Canning said: “Our thanks go to the Toy Trust’s generous media partners and toy companies for their incredible support over many years, and to Jeff Taylor of Havas Entertainment for his hard work and dedication to securing media stories. I would also like to thank my industry colleagues for their generous offers this year, which has gotten our 2022 fundraising off to a great start and will help us in our quest to continue supporting UK-based children’s charities. United this year.
