Model claims sex doll company made X-rated toy based on her image without her consent

An Instagram model claims that a tech company in China has modeled its X-rated toy on its image and is begging it to be taken off sale.

An Instagram model claimed her identity was stolen by a Chinese tech company to make an X-rated sex doll based on her image without her consent.

Yael Cohen Aris, 25, claims maker Irontech Dolls modeled a sex doll in her image after becoming a popular online influencer.

The realistic sex toy has strikingly similar characteristics to the Israeli model – including its distinctive beauty mark on its lower lip and the same name.

She even found a forum where real photos of her were used to promote the product, The sun reports.

Speaking on the UK show This Morning via a video link, Yael said she desperately wanted the doll to be taken off sale and wanted to take legal action against the company that makes it.

“I have nothing against the sex doll industry, but the problem is they did it without my consent and without my knowledge,” she told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

“It’s also doubly wrong because it’s linked to my identity. It’s not just a doll that looks like me or takes inspiration from me – they never hide the fact that she was developed. for me.

The horrified woman – who has over a million Instagram followers – also described the shocking moment she first saw the doll after being warned by a fan.

“I couldn’t quite understand what I was looking at – it was a sex doll for sale. Then I realized the scale of the situation and what was going on, ”she said.

When asked by Phillip if she would take a percentage of the profits from the doll’s sales, Yael replied, “No, I think first of all she should get off the shelves, then maybe we can talk about how. whose things went wrong and why.

“I’m not talking about compensation, I think to take a lesson from that would be the best thing to take from this story.”

In 2019, Yael informed her Instagram followers of the discovery and is frustrated that it is still being sold.

“I found out that a big company made a SEX DOLL about me WITHOUT my permission or without my knowing it,” she fumed.

“No, it’s not a joke, it’s real. They even named the doll ‘Yael’. I am still shocked. don’t really know what to do.

This Morning said it contacted the Chinese company that made it, Irontech Dolls, but has not received a response.
