A South Ribble company that creates “Magical Story Jars” to help parents connect with their children has won a silver medal at the Independent Toy Awards.

Beth De Nobrega of Lostock Hall created Preston’s Magical Story Jars in 2017 to help parents create fun and imaginative stories with their children.
The Independent Toy Awards is a prestigious program in which brands such as Vtech, Leap Frog and Duplo compete for the coveted distinction. But this is the second year in a row that the local business has won the awards.

Beth, Founder and Chief Story Designer of Magical Story Jars, said, “The entire Magical Story Jars team is thrilled that our write your own fairy tale gift set won a silver award.

The Preston Company offers a range of themed story jars, including adventure, fairy tales and Christmas.
Beth and her team also travel around the country to provide story-making experiences for local festivals, councils, malls and other businesses that want to offer “something different” at their events.
